- Photobox – Event photo app for capturing, storing, and sharing photos
- Signuply – Event management service for registering and managing events
By using the website or the services offered, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. Services
2.1 IT services
We offer professional IT services, consulting, and technical support. A contract is only concluded upon individual commissioning.
2.2 Photo box
Photobox is a digital service for creating and providing event photos.
- A user account is required for use.
- Registration is done via the Keycloak authentication system.
- This involves processing your email address, user name, and an encrypted password.
- Photos are stored anonymously and saved in S3 buckets.
- No personal data is stored together with the images.
- Metadata (e.g., event ID, technical information) remains exclusively on our own systems.
- When you take out a paid subscription, the data required for payment processing is transmitted to Stripe.
The organizer/contractual partner is responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from the persons depicted.
2.3 Signuply
Signuply is an event management service for registering, managing, and organizing events.
- Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of the data entered.
- Merrem IT Works only provides the technical platform.
- The organizer is responsible for data protection with regard to the participant data it collects.
2.4 Use of the website
Use of the website is free of charge and serves to provide information. Additional costs may arise for certain services, which will be clearly communicated before the contract is concluded.
3. Registration & User Accounts
Registration may be required for Photobox and Signuply.
- Users must provide accurate information.
- Access data must not be disclosed to third parties.
- We reserve the right to block accounts in the event of misuse.
4. Responsibilities of users
Users and organizers undertake to
- not to create or upload any illegal content,
- not to infringe any third-party rights,
- comply with all data protection obligations towards participants or persons depicted.
Merrem IT Works accepts no responsibility for content created or provided by users via Photobox or Signuply.
5. Copyright
All content on this website (text, images, graphics, layouts) is subject to copyright. Any use outside the legal limits requires prior written consent.
The user warrants that they have all necessary rights for uploaded photos or event content.
6. Disclaimer
- The contents of this website have been compiled with the utmost care, but we cannot guarantee that they are up to date, complete, or accurate.
- We are only liable for damages caused by incorrect information, technical problems, or failures in cases of proven gross negligence or intent.
- No liability is accepted for data loss or malfunctions caused by external factors or force majeure.
- We accept no responsibility for content created or uploaded by users via Photobox or Signuply.
7. Data protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy. The following also applies to Photobox and Signuply:
- The organizer is responsible for data protection with regard to the data it collects.
- Merrem IT Works acts as a technical service provider or processor, if contractually agreed.
8. Changes to the Terms of Use
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the website or services constitutes your acceptance of the updated version.
9. Final provisions
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. German law shall apply.
